On each roll:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf # is odd, the Odd player moves forward that number of spaces\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf # is even, the Even player moves forward.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe winner is the first person to catch or overtake the other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Smiley Face Game Rules\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eObject: Collect the most smiley faces to win the game.\u003cbr\u003eTwo ways of playing:\u003cbr\u003e1) Smiley Capture - great fun for nearly all ages\u003cbr\u003e2) Smiley Strategy - a thinking persons game for ages 8 to adult.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRules for Smiley Capture: For 2 to 4 players, ages 4 to Adult\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGame pieces:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e8 - single Smiley Faces, 2 - double Smiley Faces, 1 - Triple Smiley Face.\u003cbr\u003e1 - Dice, 4 player pieces in colored acrylic\u003cbr\u003eTo start play, place the Triple Smiley Face on the last number, #81.\u003cbr\u003eScatter the other Smiley Face pieces on numbers of your choice from #7 to #80.\u003cbr\u003eThis can vary from game to game. We recommend you have at least one Smiley Face on each row.\u003cbr\u003eDo not use #1-6 for Smiley Faces so as to not give the player who goes first an advantage.\u003cbr\u003eRoll the dice to see who goes first; highest number goes first.\u003cbr\u003ePlayers alternate turns proceeding left to right\u003cbr\u003eUpon your turn roll the dice and move your piece according to the roll. If you land on exact\u003cbr\u003ecount on a Smiley Face then capture it and remove from game. You are also awarded an extra turn.\u003cbr\u003eIf you land on a Double Smiley Face, you are awarded 2 extra turns.\u003cbr\u003eIf you land on an opponent, you must move backwards to the nearest available open space not occupied\u003cbr\u003eby a Smiley Face or another opponent.\u003cbr\u003eIf all players pass the point of a Smiley Face with no one capturing it, then it is immediately picked\u003cbr\u003eup and replaced on the board in the highest possible open number. This process continues such\u003cbr\u003ethat near the end of the game there may be a number of Smiley Faces lined up in the top row.\u003cbr\u003eYou can only reach the end of the game by landing on #81 with an exact roll. For example, if you are\u003cbr\u003eon space #80, you would need a 1 to capture the final Triple Smiley Face and end the game.\u003cbr\u003eIf you roll anything larger than 1 in this case, you could not move and the game would continue\u003cbr\u003eto the next person. When someone does reach the Triple Smiley on #81 the game immediately\u003cbr\u003eends. The person with the most Smiley Faces wins. The Double Smiley counts 2 and the Triple\u003cbr\u003eSmiley counts 3.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRules for Smiley Strategy - a 2 person strategy game for ages 8 to Adult\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003eGame pieces used:\u003cbr\u003e8 Smiley Faces, 2 Double Smiley Faces, 1 Triple Smiley Face\u003cbr\u003eOnly one Colored Game piece is required\u003cbr\u003eNo Dice\u003cbr\u003eDetermine who goes first by coin flip or roll of a dice.\u003cbr\u003eFirst player moves the lone marker forward 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 spaces.\u003cbr\u003eNext player moves the same marker forward 1 to 5 spaces. Players continue to take turns to move the\u003cbr\u003emarker forwards 1 to 5 spaces. Each player that lands on a Smiley captures that Smiley.\u003cbr\u003eThe winner is the player who has the most points when the marker reaches 81.\u003cbr\u003eTo start play, place the Triple Smiley Face on the last number, #81.\u003cbr\u003eScatter the other Smiley Face pieces on numbers of your choice from #13 to #80.\u003cbr\u003eThis can vary from game to game.
